
Isel De La Torre, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in primary care and a focused interest in endocrinology. She provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with an emphasis on managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic disease. Fluent in English and Spanish, Isel builds strong connections with a diverse patient population. She is known for her warm, approachable demeanor and her ability to make patients feel comfortable, heard, and involved in their healthcare decisions. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine, where she developed strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage complex patient conditions. As a Nurse Practitioner, Isel has experience in insulin initiation and titration, continuous glucose monitoring interpretation, and individualized treatment planning. She also has clinical experience in the evaluation and management of thyroid conditions, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid nodules, as well as in the medical management of obesity through lifestyle interventions and pharmacologic options when appropriate. She is passionate about helping patients achieve long-term health through education, lifestyle support, and evidence-based care.
