A career in healthcare is not something Tara Connell ever envisioned when she made the move from New York to Florida more than 20 years ago. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, the transition into the medical field was unexpected, but it has been filled with rewards, growth, and opportunities to serve others. Currently, Tara serves as the Care Coordinator for Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists.
Tara has been with Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists for 12 years and has held a variety of positions within the Front Desk Department, including Front Desk Coordinator in the Boynton office.She is rooted in servant leadership and has a passion for helping and supporting others, whether staff members or patients. Throughout her career, she has developed strong patient care skills and one of her greatest joys is helping patients navigate challenges related to their conditions and connecting them with the resources they need to achieve resolution. Her varied skill set of insurance expertise, teamwork, collaboration with other departments and compassion work together and are at the core of what she brings to the practice.
When she is not at work Tara enjoys serving at her church and within the community, growing in her faith, exploring nature, spending time with family and friends, traveling, adding to her ever-growing houseplant collection and pursuing her love of photography.
