Jeff currently serves as the Laboratory Director for Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists in Florida, where he oversees laboratory operations across multiple locations throughout Palm Beach County. In this role, he is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating laboratory services while ensuring compliance with CLIA, COLA, OSHA, state, and federal regulatory requirements. His responsibilities include quality assurance, quality control, personnel management, budgeting, workflow optimization, implementation of new diagnostic services, regulatory inspections, staff development, and strategic operational planning.
Prior to his current role, Jeff held laboratory leadership and management positions within major healthcare organizations and medical centers, where he gained extensive experience directing complex laboratory operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing regulatory compliance programs, and supporting high-volume patient care environments. His broad experience spans hospital-based laboratories, specialty healthcare organizations, and outpatient clinical settings, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of laboratory medicine across multiple healthcare delivery systems. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from West Virginia University School of Medicine, a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from Trinity International University, and an Associate of Science degree in Histology from the University of North Dakota. He successfully completed the Histology program with a 91.8% overall academic average, further expanding his expertise in anatomic pathology and laboratory science. He is certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and is licensed by the State of Florida as a Clinical Laboratory Professional.
Throughout his career, Jeff has developed extensive expertise in laboratory administration, clinical operations, quality management systems, regulatory compliance, staff development, strategic planning, budget management, accreditation preparedness, and healthcare leadership. His experience encompasses chemistry, hematology, immunology, endocrinology, urinalysis, histology, and point-of-care testing services. He has successfully implemented process improvements, developed high-performing laboratory teams, introduced new testing services, and maintained the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
In addition to his healthcare leadership responsibilities, Jeff is a licensed financial professional and mortgage loan originator. He assists individuals and families with retirement planning, life insurance strategies, investment education, debt management, wealth-building concepts, and home financing solutions.
